Gaviscon Advance Liquid Peppermint is for the treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), relieving symptoms such as acid regurgitation, indigestion or heartburn, including during pregnancy. It contains double the concentration of sodium alginate compared with Gaviscon Original and therefore provides the strongest Gaviscon treatment that works as a raft that forms a thick layer on top of the stomach contents and prevents acid rising back up into the oesophagus (food pipe).
