Co-codamol Tablets Effervescent 8/500 are used for the treatment of acute moderate pain which is not relieved by simple paracetamol, aspirin or ibuprofen alone. Paracetamol and Codeine are the two active ingredients in co-codamol and they work together in relieving muscular and rheumatic pains, headache, migraine, neuralgia (nerve pain), toothache, period pains, Co-Codamol Effervescent can be taken by adults and children older than 12 years of age dissolved in a glass of water.
