Description

AQUACEL FOAM ADHESIVE FORMAT Multi-layered adhesive dressing in polyurethane-hydrocellular foam with alveolar structure, accompanied by a thin layer of hydrophilic contact with the wound bed, an external polyurethane film and a silicone (hypoallergenic) adhesive. The mixed-cell polyurethane layer is highly hydrophilic, absorbent, retaining the exudate and transpiring. The Hydrofiber technology layer in direct contact with the lesion illusions, allows AQUACEL Foam to interact actively with the lesionestessa by instantly forming a soft gel that keeps the environment moist and retains the exudate, promoting healing and reducing the risk of maceration of the cuteperilesional . The breathable outer film promotes the transmission of vapors and gases and creates a waterproof barrier against fluids and bacteria that protects the wound from external contamination. The silicone adhesive edge is extremely delicate to remove, thin and highly-distributable. AQUACEL Foam is indicated for use in poorly to moderately exuding wounds on: Traumatic wounds: small abrasions, tears and small cuts. Chronic wounds: ulcers in the lower limbs (venous ulcers, arterial ulcers and mixed adnexitis ulcers), diabetic ulcers, partial-thickness and all-thickness pressure ulcers. Acute wounds: surgical wounds (left to heal by secondary intention) and cutaneous areas of skin. Oncological wounds: lesions with high exudate (cutaneous mycotic tumors, metastasicutaneous tumors and sarcoma). It can be used both as a primary and a secondary dressing. LATEX FREE- FTALATI FREE. How to use Choose a dressing of shape and size such that the absorbent pad is central to the wider area of the wound. Align the center of the dressing with the wound center and place the central dressing buffer directly over the wound. The dressing must be changed when clinically indicated or when it is saturated exudate; in any case no later than 7 days of stay in situ. AQUACEL Foam can be used as primary medication, or secondary inassociation with other products. Components Sterile dressing consisting of: an external waterproof film in polyurethane, a hydrophilic polyurethane stratum with a thickness of 2.5 mm, density of around 300 g / m2, and a cell size of 200-300 microns, an absorbing layer of non-woven fibers pure sodium carboxymethylcellulose in gelling fibers (NaCMC) surrounded by a thin and delicate silicone adhesive edge. Sterilization method: Sterilized with ethylene oxide. Warnings Testotestotesto. Report any warnings / precautions for use here. storage Protect from light sources, store in a dry place at room temperature (10 ? C – 25 ? C). Validity in years: 3.
