Acnecide 5% Benzoyl Peroxide Gel contains the active ingredient Benzoyl Peroxide which attacks the bacteria or germs known as Propionibacterium acnes, which are one of the main causes of acne. The active ingredient, benzoyl peroxide, has an antibacterial effect along with anti-inflammatory and skin peeling (keratolytic) action. The reduction in bacteria on the skin leads to a reduction in greasiness of the skin, helps to clear blocking of skin pores and a general, gradual improvement in skin condition.
